Hello and Welcome.

My name is Brian Kirkby and I am a professional freelance musician and music teacher specializing in piano, keyboard and trumpet tuition, based in Exeter, Devon.

Currently I am a peripatetic instrumental teacher for ten schools in and around Exeter. I have also played the piano for Devon’s Premier Big Band for the last fourteen years, a high profile concert band noted for its musical excellence.

Whatever the reason that people choose to learn a musical instrument, I am happy to guide and help them, the emphasis always being on encouragement and enjoyment.
